October 18 taping
Tuesday October 18, 2005 My own title for the show is "Flaming Lips" lol read more to find out why... The episode is basically about the cast confronting Barbara Jean about her "weight gain". Cheyenne decides to tackle the issue for Brock since she is an expert about people having certain "addictions". Barbara Jean decides she may have a problem and needs help. With encouragement from Cheyenne, Reba, Cheyenne and BJ decide to go on a diet. They form a support group for BJ. I thought that this would be a touchy subject and wasn't too sure about how this episode would turn out, but Mr. Kevin Abbott did another fantastic job writing the script. It has tons of funny moments but ends with a nice message. Alright now to the bloopers! I belive it was in the first scene of the night where Cheyenne is supposed to hit Van after he says something stupid... After Jo hit Steve, her next line she messed it up. Jo was laughing saying she lost her concentration and felt bad because she hit Steve really hard! lol it was true it was a very loud slap... So they did it again with Jo going a little easier on the hitting. Later on there is a scene where the girls are starving, and brock and van come in after having a nice big lunch. So desperate for a taste of some good food cheyenne grabs van for some tasting... The 2nd take of this scene ended with melissa throwing Jo down on the couch to make a run for the kitchen... After they yelled "cut" Jo grabbed her lip... I originally thought that she had somehow gotten cut when she was thrown to the couch. As she walked over to get something to drink she was telling someone how she could taste it... Come to find out, Steve put tabasco sauce on his lips for their kissing scene!!! lmao Props to Jo for keeping a straight face through the whole scene even though her lips were burning! Another blooper of the night is when little Mitch hinted to Reba that she did the wrong line. Jo said something about how mitch was smarter than she was... Melissa laughed at Jo and held up a napkin and said something like, hunny I could say this napkin is smarter than you but I don't. Jo gave her this funny sarcastic look and told melissa that she was so sorry that it was her last taping... lol I love this cast! I still can't believe that Melissa did a taping 2 days before the birth of her first child! She is incredible! And to Jo as she was in every scene! She did an amazing job! Another great week!
