From the taping on September 13th
Ok so I arrived kinda late... but I still had plenty of time before the show started. When I finally got to my seat they didn't show us any kind of playback like they usually do, so I don't have any info on the season premiere! bummer i know! So they do the intro with the cast and Jo looks stunning in a cute top. It would have been a "revealing" top if she didn't have a white top on underneath it. Cute outfit though! Oh and Steve needs to cut his hair by the way... So right before they start to do the first scene of the night Reba takes the mic from the warm-up guy and informs us that it is mitch's bday. So she then starts to sing happy birthday as we all join in. Ok so the show starts. The main idea of this episode is that Barbara Jean has put a "Reba" profile online for one of those dating services because she thinks Reba needs to find love...
Ok, first blooper of the night goes to the one and only Jo. ha ha she didnt even mess up a line. The group started walking and she stayed still and she was like oh im supposed to be walking now huh? Another time she was standing in the living room waiting for the scene to start and she was saying something. Then she laughed and asked the sound guy if he got that. He said yeah and she laughed and said he gets everything. Then like a minute later she goes wait, this thing is really on? (Pointing to the mic above her head) They can hear me? So of course the audience cracks up because we can hear everything she has just said. Jo gets so embarassed and falls on the couch covering her face with a pillow. So funny! After she composed herself she was telling us about this one guy that works on the set and how he was dressed nice tonight because he had pants on. Usually she said he is just in shorts, but since it was for us he put on pants. Then she continued on about how he does have nice legs... then the guy is like yeah, and we are still rolling.... we all busted up laughing because here is Jo talking about this guys nice legs while the film is still rolling. Jo just cracked up laughing cuz she had no clue that it was being caught on film.
Another time steve got jo laughing, and the director started the scene and she was still laughing so they had to re-start it. Also, Jo flubbed this one line that had french and english in it. After the 2nd time Melissa screams out Jo i'm due in 6 weeks can we get the line right before then? So funny! (The cast just enjoys being together you can tell! Since this was also the first taping with a live studio audience the cast seemed extra giddy/ excited.) Ok anyways near the end of the night the scene was off to the left around the corner so all we could see was what was on the tv screens. I kept hearing Jo yell out random things in between takes. She started singing loudly at one point but I couldnt make out what song it was. Oh and who was first to break into Mitch's bday cake???? Well, at least the first to eat it out in front of the audience.... yup Jo. lol Cute moment of the night (besides Jo slapping Steve's ass like 4 times in a row) was when Melissa had Jo feel her stomach. Then Jo leaned down and either was listening or talking to Melissa's stomach. ha ha i couldnt tell as her hair fell down in front of her face. oh random side note: There was this really annoying guy who kept making fun of himself because he was from Canada. The warm-up guy keep asking him questions and making fun of him and the fact that he was from Canada. Of course the guy totally brought it on himself. He wanted to make us laugh I guess. So the last scene of the night there was a line in the script where "barbara jean" says something about Canada and it being the land of scam artists. The audience bursts out laughing as we are looking at this crazy guy in the audience... we laughed for like a minute... everyone on the stage looked at us like we all were crazy and that it wasnt that funny of a joke... ha ha so when it airs (if they leave in the Canada joke) now you know why the audience is really laughing at that joke!
Also I have to mention that the guest star Tom Wilson did an amazing job! (He is best know for his role of "Biff" in the Back to the Future trilogy!) Yup so awesome first week and I hope you enjoyed this review
